San Diego video production company, BizVid Communications would rather reflect our years of experience through our body of work. Even so, once in a while, it is of value to showcase our partners to illustrate their depth in video, and related fields of marketing, PR and advertising. Co-owner Caz Taylor is the company’s scriptwriter/producer. He has worked in broadcast production and advertising more than 30 years. Serving as vice presidents over creative supervision and client services, he has developed many award-winning campaigns. Those include JD Power & Associates recognition for an automotive broadcasting strategy and around a dozen Diamond Awards, which are the highest financial broadcasting and marketing honors within the credit union industry.
During his tenure as Marketing VP at U.S.E. Credit Union, one of America’s large cooperatives, Caz and his team were awarded an amazing eight Credit Union National Association “Diamond Awards” in a single year. These distinctions represented the top marketing honors among this type of financial institution. These national “best of” awards covered a vast array of disciplines, including Broadcasting, PR, Annual Reports, Point of Sale, Outdoor, Internal Marketing, Segmented Marketing and Complete Campaigns.
As a Creative and Client Service VP at several predominant advertising agencies through his career, Mr. Taylor has accumulated a vast knowledge and understanding in the development of powerful campaigns to showcase clients of all types and sizes. In these roles, he was honored with the JD Power & Associates Award for best broadcasting on behalf of Car Country Carlsbad, in final destination auto mall advertising.
BizVid’s love for helping small businesses, led Caz to host and produce a weekly BizVid-sponsored radio broadcast entitled SBA Radio. For more than two years, he has been joined by guest expert Ruben Garcia, District Director of the Small Business Administration.
Caz is also a prolific author, with two published books, numerous articles and guides to his credit. One of his books was a sci-fi novel and the other was a Christian study book. He also writes a monthly column entitled “The Praise Report” for a San Diego publication entitled Good News Etcetera Newspaper, distributing to about 40,000 readers.

San Diego Video Production Company, BizVid Communications produces a weekly SBA Radio broadcast. A recent guest and topic seemed like a good blog topic. Meet author and entrepreneur Stephanie Chandler as she discusses her book’s content. It’s entitled “Own Your Niche: Hype-Free Internet Marketing Tactics to Establish Authority in Your Field and Promote Your Service-Based Business” (Authority Publishing, February 2012).
After leaving behind a career in the Silicon Valley in 2003, Stephanie began leveraging the internet to build her business. Her website has grown steadily over the years thanks to practical marketing strategies. She doesn’t believe in hype or hard selling, and instead focuses on marketing great content with authenticity.
In the SBA Radio interview Stephanie discusses-
Stephanie is the author of several books including LEAP! 101 Ways to Grow Your Business and From Entrepreneur to Infopreneur: Make Money with Books, eBooks and Information Products. Stephanie decided early on to avoid internet marketing tactics that didn’t pass her internal “gut test” and despite her refusal to comply with the masses, she has built several successful businesses, is a frequent speaker at business events and on the radio, and has been featured in Entrepreneur Magazine, Wired magazine, BusinessWeek, and many others. She is currently a blogger for Forbes and can be reached via several of her business and book websites, or on Twitter.
Hear the complete interview at these two links. SBA Radio broadcasts live on Thursdays from wsRadio, the worldwide leader in internet talk. BizVid Communications has been producing this show for over two years. It is part of our vision to help small businesses succeed.

Eight days on the island of Ohau, January 2012. This became the site of our literal “board” meeting. Find out what it looked like with the adventurous Bill Gruber and Caz Taylor from BizVid Communications, as well as wives Brenda and Daphne. Snorkeling, surfing, ATVing, Luauing (lew-WOW-ing), and “outta sight” sightseeing. Come along we put our new smartphone video software to work.
We board Hawaiian Airlines to begin our journey to Honolulu, Hawaii. Upon arrival, we drive to the windward side of the island known as “North Shore.” After settling into our beach front accommodations, we start enjoying the remarkable environment.
Today we leave for our escorted visit to Pearl Harbor. This tour will take us to the very spot of the attack. “The Memorial Tour”- A morning at Pearl Harbor, where we will stand aboard the Arizona Memorial, the site that began WWII and then board the battleship USS Missouri or “Mighty Mo” where the war ended.
Relax is the word of the day for today. Our objective is to explore the North Shore to visit some of the famous surfing spots to see if the “surfs up.” It is this time of year that the “big ones” pummel the North Shore. We will stop at Wiamea Bay as well as Sunset Beach, the Banzi Pipeline.
Following breakfast, we drove to the world famous 42 acre, Polynesian Culture Center where we will experience the native lifestyles and habitats from centuries ago. Pacific cultures come alive to reenact war dances and wedding ceremonies, rub sticks to create fire, carve tiki figures, and climb four-story trees in bare feet. We will also experience the Canoe pageant.
We return to Waikiki, the South Shore where we’ll visit Hanauma Bay for snorkeling, the Blow Hole, Sandy Beach, Sea Life Park and we will return via the Pali. This also may be a wonderful evening for a catamaran ride launching from world famous, Waikiki.
Today we motor to the Kualoa Ranch located on the northeastern side of Oahu.Established in 1850, Kualoa is a 4,000-acre working cattle ranch, spread from the steep mountain cliffs to the sparkling sea. Once there, we will mount our All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) for a tour. We will ride through dense rainforest to broad open valleys and from beautiful white sand beaches to verdant cliff faces. It is truly a paradise for outdoor recreation with many places accessible only by horseback, ATV or hiking. By the way, if the views look familiar, that’s because Kualoa has been the site of many television shows and Hollywood films such as Jurassic Park,Wind talkers, Pearl Harbor, Godzilla, Tears of the Sun and 50 First Dates as well as TV shows including the old and new Hawaii Five-O, Magnum P.I. and LOST.
We say “goodbye” to the cottage and motor to Honolulu and the Queen Kapiolani Hotel, our accommodations for the evening. This evening, we will cap off our visit to Hawaii by attending a Germaine’s luau (Hawaii’s original), chosen “Hawaii’s Best” by the readers of Honolulu Star Bulletin. We will enjoy food, and entertainment including a spectacular Polynesian Revue and Samoan Fire knife Dancer.
Today we leave the hotel for our trek to Honolulu International Airport and back to San Diego. What a remarkable trip.

A leading production company in San Diego, BizVid Communications enjoys meeting industry leaders in our efforts to craft captivating videos for our clients. One such occasion was when BizVid taped Logos Bible Study’s Dr. Bill Creasy for the commencement of their Portraits of Jesus seminar. Business leader, author and oft sought speaker, Ken Blanchard was on hand for the seminar and BizVid took the opportunity to prepare our blog spotlight featuring this remarkable man and his international prowess.
One of Blanchard’s first books was a worldwide best seller. It was called the One Minute Manager. His clear and simple business directives captivated readers and opened the door for his legacy. Ken and his several companies are highly sought after for business advice and support from around the globe.
A professing Christian, Blanchard’s tips often include biblical and moral references, with heavy doses of common sense.
According to his website, the San Diego-based Ken Blanchard Companies is a global leader in workplace learning, productivity, performance, and leadership training solutions. They help companies improve their performance, productivity, and bottom-line results. The Ken Blanchard Companies, and its founders Ken and Margie Blanchard, have been honored with a number of prestigious leadership and management training awards during the company’s 30 year history.
Blanchard’s culture encourages and supports many grass-roots efforts led by emerging leaders that promote, organize, and educate on charitable giving, fitness, volunteering, and conserving natural resources. The company, as a whole, believes in the importance of sharing the success of their organization with others and investing time in the improvement and appreciation of the communities in which they live and do business.
Ken Blanchard’s faith helped co-found an ancillary and clearly Christ-based outreach, called Lead Like Jesus. The Lead Like Jesus ministry is not called to run ministries or businesses or start churches, according to their website, they are called to train the leaders who do so in ways that God is glorified, people are served, and organizations are more effective in impacting the world for the Kingdom of God.
As stated in our video blog, a brief visit from the inspirational Blanchard suggests that he is more than a businessman’s businessman. He’s a leader of leaders.

San Diego video production leader BizVid Communications spotlights Logos Bible Study’s Dr. Bill Creasy and photog Ana Vargas. We grabbed a moment with this extraordinary Bible teacher and remarkable still photographer as BizVid prepared to video tape four in a series of twenty four teachings entitled Portrait of Jesus. Creasy, who is known for detailed and extensive Bible narrative, blended with reverence and humor, embarks on this series with hundreds in attendance.
Logos Bible Study is the organization through which Dr. Creasy presents his teachings, writings and travel expeditions. At present, the most frequent attendees embrace the Catholic faith, but audiences include enthusiasts from all denominations, as well as other men and women with interests in Biblical history. Creasy’s experience as adventurer, historian, as well as UCLA literature and religion professor, gives him a unique vantage point from which to present his instructions and points of view. Often, he is accompanied by accomplished still photographer Ana Vargas. The quality of her work is legendary. Her specialty is capturing people and nature. Her senses of color, balance and composition captivate viewers.
The launching of this series began at Our Mother of Confidence Catholic Church on Governor Drive in San Diego. BizVid was commissioned to video tape and produce the first four teachings of this all Saturday series. Creasy sets the stage by illustrating the lineage, prophesies, geographic, social and politic environments surround Jesus’ life. The first four sessions deal with Christ’s birth. Dr. Bill uses scripture to establish his presentation, but incorporates his extensive knowledge of the region and the mores of the times to paint a captivating picture.
With strong Judeo Christian roots, BizVid’s Bill Gruber and Caz Taylor enjoy working on projects like this. Similar to Creasy, past productions Bill and Caz have produced many videos covering the Holy Land and predominant Bible teachers. To find out more about Dr. Creasy and Logos Bible Study venues, visit their website.
