Behind the Scenes at BizVid’s Weekly Radio Broadcast

Today, our video blog comes from the studios of WSRadio.com where BizVid Communications, a leader in corporate video production, produces a weekly internet radio program called “SBA Radio.” The program is hosted by BizVid partner, Caz Taylor and guest expert, Ruben Garcia who is the SBA Director of the San Diego and Imperial Counties SBA offices.
“SBA Radio” is a business show that features guests on from all parts of the world who discuss ways businesses can improve their services, grow and become more productive. While BizVid’s major thrust is video production, we also provide radio production and other services as well. This program is an example of such a service.
The studio we use is equipped with the typical and necessary tools. There is a mixing console, room sound proofing, a compliment of microphones setup in an interview configuration, computers, proprietary software and a very speedy internet connection.
The great benefit of internet radio is that each program produced is recorded and archived for playback at a future date. In fact, each program is kept in the archives for one year. This gives our guests the opportunity to share their on-air segment with whomever they choose. Some guests have put their segment link on a website for access.
Internet communication and radio is part of the great media mix now available to this generation. Soon, automobiles will be internet configured and programs like ours will be available throughout the world….any time, any place. We are happy to be a part of this great revolution and on the cutting edge of 21st century communication.

Your leader in San Diego video production, BizVid Communications offers this rather obvious word of wisdom for growing your business: One’s reputation often hangs with whom one affiliates. We do a lot of quality video work with clients nationwide. The clients on our sample reels and our other business affiliations speak highly of the work we offer and of our character.
For over two years now, BizVid has produced a radio program entitled “SBA Radio”. It is hosted by BizVid’s Caz Taylor, with ongoing guest expert, and good friend Ruben Garcia of the Small Business Administration.
Ruben is the SBA’s District Director of San Diego and Imperial Counties. Producing this weekly show can be labor intensive but it has proven an invaluable tool for inviting small businesses to be interviewed, along with small business resource companies. Everyone wins in this arrangement. It gives Ruben a higher profile through the SBA, as well as gives him the opportunity to help his resource partners by bringing them on the air periodically.
It helps guests by providing them exposure from a nationally broadcasted program. These guests can then use the interviews for their own marketing purposes. It helps radio affiliate, wsRadio because it broadens their listener base and carries the value of being tied in some way with small businesses and the SBA.
Other invaluable partnerships for BizVid include SpearHall Advertising. Both BizVid owners have had longtime relationships with this marketing and public relations firm. Referrals are often exchanged and marketing and video insights shared.
Another proven partnership is our ongoing relationship with our Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce. We often offer our services at reduced rates to remain “top of mind” when video-related needs arise from within their vast business membership.
