Etiquette for Email Forwarding
This is something that I’ve noticed is getting worse in certain office environments; Email Forwarding. Every time you forward an email there is information left over from the people who got the message before you, namely their email addresses and names. As the name list builds, someone in the chain may get a virus which will then be sent to every email address that has come across their computer. To prevent this from happening to you, delete all of the other addresses that appear in the body of the message. You must click the “Forward” button first to gain full editing capabilities which will allow you to delete the unwanted addresses. At this point, it should be safe enough for you to complete the forward. We at BizVid Communications practice this policy for every video production and web video we create. It is just good policy.
