BizVid Communications is a video production company in San Diego that specializes in video for business regardless of the industry. Our profession takes us to a variety of environments that are unique and, sometimes, are a one of a kind experiences.
So like a family that takes pictures to help with the memory of various vacations and events, we, too, use pictures to help us recount our production activity. In our business they are known as “production stills.”
You are looking at some examples of “production stills” that we’ve have taken over the years. These pictures serve a multiple purpose. They are enjoyable for my partner, Caz, and I to look at and, when we give pictures to our client, those pictures serve as constant reminders our company and, hopefully, leads to repeat business. We always make sure to include the client in some of the shots. They love the souvenir.
Production stills are also invaluable for use in other forms of publicity. For example, if you visit our website, you’ll see stills utilized throughout the site. Plus, we post them to our Facebook page so that visitors to the page can keep current with the projects we are involved with.
The “production still” provides a behind the scenes look at equipment and personnel as the day unfolds… it’s a way of registering the event for future reference. The task for taking the pictures can easily fall through the cracks. So, to be sure that production stills are taken, we assign one of the crew members to that purpose.
